She came into the world at 6.8lbs, the minute I heard her cry I couldn’t believe she was finally here after 9months of waiting, my heart was filled with joy.

They were taken at exactly a week, 7days after birth. I was still so postpartum, every thing still hurt and she was still so tiny and I just wanted to remember everything of that first week’s excitement.

I’ve been thinking about the journey this must also be for dad’s. Most of the times they are ready and willing for mama to be the star of the show, to pamper them and be the supporting role behind the scenes. Deep into our third trimester at 32 weeks, we are definitely feeling the bump grow, baby move more and so ready to meet her soon.

I was so excited at 28 weeks. Just starting my third trimester, I felt I could finally show my bump in pictures. You have no idea how proud I am of this and the amazing things my body is doing. 

There is a trail I walk everyday by my backyard, and I asked my husband to take some pictures before these flowers were gone. And am realizing the importance of finding a location that is meaningful to you. 

This place is so tied with my whole pregnancy journey. My determination to get at least one walk a day, to talk and connect with my baby, to watch the seasons change and imagine one day making this walk with a little one 🥹
